The series entitled Wilting photographs various flowers at the moment just past full bloom. When I first see a flower at its peak I always wonder: is this it? Will you still be beautiful when you start to wilt?
Each photograph asks whether beauty is more beautiful than the transience of beauty. The flower is not really the subject — it is the safest possible way to look at that question for longer than a moment.
